Our beautiful three-bedroom townhouse is located within the peaceful private community of Cascata Village, just a few minutes from the beaches, restaurants and attractions that make the Algarve one of Europe's favourite holiday destinations.
From the moment you arrive, our aim is simple—to help you relax, unwind and enjoy every moment of your stay.
This Welcome Guide contains everything you need to know before and during your holiday, from arrival information and local recommendations to useful tips that will help you make the most of your time with us.

Before You Travel
A few days before your arrival you'll receive your personalised Guest Arrival Information, including:

Please ensure you complete any guest registration information requested before you travel, as Portuguese accommodation providers are legally required to register guest details with the relevant authorities.
Getting Here
Faro Airport
Villa Cascata is approximately 35 minutes from Faro International Airport by car, depending on traffic.
Airport Transfers
If you'd rather relax from the moment you land, we can arrange a private airport transfer directly to Villa Cascata.
Current transfer /taxi prices:
- 1–4 guests: €80 each way
- 5–8 guests: €100 each way
Child seats are available on request and there are no additional charges for late-night or early-morning arrivals. Payment is made directly to the driver.
Car Hire
Although taxis are readily available, we highly recommend hiring a car to make the most of everything the Algarve has to offer.

During July and August demand is extremely high, so we recommend booking your vehicle well in advance.
Arriving at Villa Cascata
Check-in
From 4:00 pm
This allows sufficient time for:
- Professional cleaning
- Safety inspections
- Maintenance checks
- Fresh linen preparation
- Final quality inspection
If the villa is ready earlier we'll always try to accommodate an earlier arrival whenever possible.
If you arrive before check-in, we're happy to help you store your luggage while you enjoy lunch, a coffee or relax by the communal pool until your villa is ready.

Looking After Villa Cascata
Villa Cascata is privately owned and located within a peaceful residential community where many neighbours live throughout the year.
We simply ask all guests to:
- Respect neighbouring residents
- Keep noise to a minimum, particularly during the evening
- Treat the villa as you would your own home
- Use communal facilities responsibly
- Leave the property clean and tidy on departure

If You Need Help
If you experience any issue during your stay, please contact us as soon as possible.
For emergencies involving:
- No electricity
- No water
- Lock-out
- Serious maintenance issues
please contact us immediately using the emergency contact details provided before your arrival.
For life-threatening emergencies, always call 112, Portugal's national emergency number, before contacting us.
Departure
Check-out is by 10:00 am, unless an alternative arrangement has been confirmed in advance.
Before leaving, we'd appreciate your help by:
- Returning all keys and access devices
- Emptying the dishwasher
- Disposing of household rubbish
- Switching off lights and air conditioning
- Closing windows and locking doors
- Checking for personal belongings
