How far is the property from Faro airport and how can I get there?
It is approx. 30/35minutes from the airport depending on traffic. If you wish Luso Living we can arrange a private taxi transfer for you to avoid waiting in lengthy taxi queues and your driver will be waiting for you in the airport arrival hall.
Airport Transfer Rates
Faro Airport to Villa Cascat 1-4 person 40.00 Euros each way. 5-8 Persons 50.00 Euros each way. You must pay the driver yourself.
Prices are each way and include baby/booster seats if required. There are no extra charges for late night or early morning transfers. Simply let us know if you wish us to arrange this for you.
Can you help with Car Hire and directions?
Yes, just let us know for how many days you would like to hire a car and they will arrange delivery or collection from the airport. If you see a special offer online when booking your flight send us details and they will match or improve the rate! Note if visiting the Algarve in July or August you will need to book as far in advance as possible as rates increase sharply, and cars are scarce to find at the last minute.
How do I get my keys to Villa Cascata?
You will be contacted regarding the arrival details a few days before your arrival date. To send you the details for keys collection, Villa Casacata will require the booking form filled 15 days prior your arrival date.
Will I be able to get straight into the property?
Check in is after 16:00pm however we will always try to give you access before then when possible. This will depend on the time of year and whether the Villa Cascata has just been vacated and is still in the process of being cleaned.
If Villa Cascata is not ready you will be able to leave your luggage while you have a coffee or lunch or even take the kids to the pool to start of the holiday asap.
If I arrive late will there be somewhere to get something to eat/drink?
For late arrivals Villa Casacata can arrange a welcome pack to be left in Villa Cascata. It will include tea/coffee/ water/milk /juice/bread /butter /eggs / cereal & biscuits and costs €40.00. If you would like a cold bottle of wine in the fridge to be included in the welcome pack listed above, then the total charge is €45.00.
If you have young children and require extra items such as baby food or nappies will we be happy to assist on request. There is an Iceland supermarket, and many UK brands are available, but we do require a weeks notice.
We have young children –can we book a cot / highchair?

Is there a maid service?
Included in the price for a 14-night stay is bedding changed after one week. There is no mid-week cleaning included for 7-night stays. If extra cleaning is required, you may request & pay directly at Villa Cascata.
Bed linen and towels are provided in the accommodation and there is a washing/dryer machine in the kitchen. Beach towels are also available at Villa Cascata.
Villa Cascata is Self-Catering
In the local area there are several supermarkets including: Intermarche, Supermercado Algartalhos, both at Olhos De Agua. Apolonia, Pingo Doce, Lidl, Aldi, AliSuper, Jaffers, Mini Preco and some smaller localised shops. Apolonia and Continente offer a shopping delivery service. You can read more about this on their websites. www.apolonia.pt and www.continente.pt Locally there are also plenty of markets to go to to purchase fantastic quality fruit, vegetables, bakery and butchery produce.

If I have been locked outside the property?
Be careful to never leave the key on the inside of the door or inside the property, as you will be charged for the door opening service between €50.00-€120.00, The locksmith will charge himself accordingly and the invoice for this service will be presented to you the guest for payment.
What if I have an emergency during my stay?
If you need any assistance during your stay, please call us or in case of any emergency (if you have been locked out or have no water or electricity) and we will get back to you shortly. If you have any other issues, please contact us during office hours Mon- Fri from 09.30-18.00.
What time do I have to leave Villa Cascata?
Please be advised that on departure, the checkout time is at 10:00am, however we can be flexible depending on the next arrival. Please check in advance as not to cause any inconvenience to other guests.
Under the Portuguese Local Letting legislation (Alojamento Local) we are required to report the following information to SEF Border Control & Portuguese fiscal authorities name, address or birth town, arrival & departure date, passport nº & place of issue, date of birth & accommodation cost. Information will not be passed to 3rd parties or used for marketing purposes.
