The 10^th edition of Americancars Algarve is happening on August 4, 5 and 6.

The Algarve’s annual American car meeting is back in Faro this Summer for three days of motor entertainment, Uncle Sam style.

Last year, “the 9th edition of Americancars Algarve brought together 108 participants from various locations in Europe and exhibited cars from 9 different countries”, says Carlos Vilaverde, the organisation’s president.

This year the event will take place next to the Forum Algarve in Faro and feature live music with four bands paying tribute to Metallica, Foo Fighters, Nirvana and Limp Bizkit.

On top of the fantastic selection of cars, musical acts and excellent street food, one of the event’s highlights will be the Best Pin-up contest.

The event is free of admission. However, the organisation encourages visitors to have lunch, dinner or simply snack at the street food vans available on the premises to help contribute to the event.
